But he doesn't want to see that turn into complete self-sacrifice. He wants Izuku to be okay... no matter what.

So that he can save so many more people, with a smile on his face.]

... You're right. [Minato offers up a small smile at that, expression gentle.] But I think so long as you keep that in mind, you'll be okay. The fact that it's something you're thinking about...that's a good thing.

Someone like you... can help so many more people by being alive to save them. And... by being alive to give them that smile of yours.

[Izuku ends up blinking back tears. The way Minato says it, like he believes that Izuku can reach that point means so much to someone who had grown up being told he amounted to nothing.]

I...I will. [Choked up as he is, Izuku's voice comes out small and wavering.]

Sometimes it feels like you believe in me more than I believe in myself.

[Minato's so kind, Izuku probably should've expected exactly that from him.]

Thank you... Arisato-kun. [He pauses a little, then gives a soft laugh.] I want to do the same for you, but I think you're way more assured in your own abilities than I am.
