[Izuku pulls the door open quickly, giving Percy an obvious once-over like he's checking for injuries. Look... he has good reason to be worried!]

So...what happened? [He ushers Percy into the cottage once he's satisfied he isn't in immediate danger.] Oh, I'll make some tea. Do you want some?

[He has a feeling they'll need it.]

Yeah, sure. Thanks. [He'll head inside, but he's also going to make a point to stop Izuku really quick to force him to look at his eyes. You know. His lovely, gray eyes.]

Well first of all, this happened as soon as we got back from the castle.

[Good idea, making him notice it before he reached for the teapot. Izuku gasps.]

Your eyes...! Whoa. [Sorry, Percy, he's just leaning in to get a closer look.] It's only your eyes that have changed like this? That's weird...usually we lose color in our entire body if someone's messing around.

Yeah, I've heard. Remember the color drain last month? I saw how that worked first-hand. [Examine away, bro, that's why he's here.] ...pretty sure it has to do with becoming an ice sculpture a few days ago.

You think so? [Izuku frowns, finally taking a step back as he brings his hand up to cup his chin in thought.]

So this is what you meant by "something for my notes" huh?

Yeah. This is what I meant. I'm not sure how much it's going to help but it's worth keeping tabs on since we know people can also turn into statues for no reason. I've never figured that out either.

It's worth noting, especially if we're looking for any kind of pattern.

[Speaking of which...Izuku whips out his notebook to start jotting something down.]

Did you notice anything else?

Yeah. Mr. F contacted me. [He's not happy about that, but he figures Izuku should know, too.] He left me a whole message and everything but of course I couldn't message him back. He blocks our messages or something.

He contacted you?! [Izuku's mouth drops open in shock.] He's...never done that before.

What did he say??

[What isn't surprising is that Percy couldn't message him back, but, honestly, that he got a message to begin with is already a big deal.]

[He rolls his eyes.] It was just a list of everything he wants me to do if I ever want to get my eye color back again. It was really specific and kind of stupid, but at least he bothered. I guess.

[He figured Izuku would be interested in that but Percy himself isn't too jazzed yet.]

Helpful. [Izuku just comments, looking a bit torn.] It'll save us some time if we know what to do to get your color back, but... I guess we're still at square one when it comes to contacting them.

[No one's surprised that #FFFFF's dodging their attempts to reach out, honestly.]

So? What does the list say?

It...says three things I have to do. One for each color? Do something normal with a yellow, talk about home with a blue, talk about Annabeth with a red.

[That's a very vague list, but he's purposefully leaving out what he specifically has to talk about regarding home. Ah well.]

[He perks up immediately.]

Well...I'm a yellow! I could help. [He pauses, scratching at his cheek.] What would count as something "normal" though?

No idea. Specifically it was like..."Do something totally normal and your age with a yellow." [He scratches the back of his head.] Do you think either of us knows what that means?

I bet we could think of something!

[Izuku scratches at his cheek, just a tad bashful.]

I didn't have any friends before I ended up at UA, but there's always been a few things I wish I could do if I had any back then.

[Oh same hat, Izuku. Percy's face seems to reflect that.]

Yeah? Like what? We can probably figure something out.

[Izuku chuckles softly.] Well... I've always been a huge hero fan. I guess one of the things I've always wanted to do was share videos of our favorite heroes with friends.

What about you?

[Let him think about that.]

[Izuku wilts a little.]

If we had electricity here, and the right electronics, I would have been willing.

So we just have to think of something without electricity...[Boo...]
