[Sorey's over on his side of the room, scrolling through the forum on his own laptop when he notices Izuku's post. A quick read through prompts him to turn around so he can talk to him directly.]

Hey, just saw your post. What's unusual about the stuff we found in the forest?

[He glances over to the chest full of rusted weapons he still has nearby.]

I was hoping to get those fixed up and handed out soon, but if they're dangerous, I want to know.

Oh! They're not dangerous. At least, not in any way that's different than normal weapons. [Oops, he probably should have clarified that.]

It's just... apparently the creatures were put there for us to find.

[tendershepherd]

[He frowns at that statement.]

Put there? How do you mean? Did someone tell you this?

[His group hadn't encountered any creatures, but he'd heard from others who had.]

The creatures felt like they were made. There's no history to them--at least that's what I was told. That's what it means.

And...yeah. Someone told me this. They have magic that can sense this kind of thing.

[tendershepherd]

I see...

[This information is worrying, he admits.]

Who could be making creatures like that? For what reason? [Not to mention how. He realizes Izuku might not have the answers to any of those questions, but he's asking them aloud anyway.]

Does everyone else know about this?

I'm...not sure. That's what I'm hoping we can find out.

[And then Izuku shakes his head.]

Not yet. I...wanted to make sure it's a pattern between all of the things in there before I actually said anything. The last thing we want to do is create a panic of any kind, only to find out we were wrong.

*rolls in with Starbucks*

[He hums softly at that.]

That makes sense. Things are really tense around here lately, so making people panic needlessly wouldn't be helpful.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you out, alright?

Yeah.. it feels like the more we find out about this place, the more ominous it feels. [Izuku shakes his head slightly.] Still, I'm glad I got to meet everyone here! I wouldn't change that part, no matter how weird things might get.

[That draws a smile out of him.] I will! Thanks, Sorey-kun. You'll do the same if you need help, right?

[tendershepherd]

Yeah, no kidding.

[He shares the same sentiment, though, and smiles at the thought as well when he nods.]

Sure thing! It's important that we all help each other, right? What's that saying...a village gets more done together than what anyone can alone?

[That probably wasn't right, but he's sure Izuku gets the idea.]
