IC BESTIARY/Forest Records

Banshee:
→ Appearance is similar to a human woman.
→ Their singing voices have a kind of hypnotic quality that they use to lure their targets to them.
→ The mind control can be broken if one has natural resistance, maybe also through shock.
→ Turns into sand when defeated.

Demon:
→ Found in an archway in the middle of the trees.
→ They have the ability to take on appearances of people familiar to us to offer a deal of some kind.
→ If you take their offer, they can steal your color and emotions.

Fortune Teller:
→ Invisible unless you take the seat across from them.
→ Will offer to tell your fortune for a price, and will not let you leave until you agree.
→ Possible prices include memories or abilities.

Ghost/Spirit:
→ So far there's only one encounter with a ghost, and he forgot his name.
→ It's possible he was one of the town's previous residents.

Ghoul:
→ Humanoid in appearance, not particularly fast or strong.
→ Normal weapons work on them. Their weak points are their heads.

Giant Hawk(?): (ooc: Roc)
→ Very aggressive and agile in the air, attack mainly with their talons and wings.
→ Normal weapons work on them. Their weak points are their wings.

Giant Wolf:
→ A wolf, but much larger, as the name implies!
→ Aggressive, but can be taken defeated with normal weapons.

Goat Men:
→ Vaguely humanoid, with large horns on their head
→ They were involved in some kind of sacrificial ritual.
→ They carried around axes as their weapons, but don't seem to have any supernatural abilities. That could change if they complete the ritual.

Harpy:
→ From Quest #3
→ Vaguely humanoid, with avian features. Large wings and tail.
→ They live in flocks in the cliffs and caves of the forest.
→ They mainly attack with their claws.

Illusion:
→ The forest can show you horrible illusions to play with your mind, and they seem tailored to the one seeing them.
→ Example: seeing the corpses of people you know

Jorogumo:
→ From Quest #6
→ Can change freely between two appearances: a spider and a human woman
→ Will try to trick you with its human form
→ The webs can be traps! Avoid them if you can.

Kalidah:
→ Appearance is like a giant bear with a tiger's head.
→ Normal weapons work on them.

Killer Vegetables:
→ Looks like an ordinary garden until the vegetables come alive and attack.
→ They leave normal seeds behind after defeated.

Magic Lake:
→ Looks like a normal lake until you look into it.
→ The lake will show you visions of something that you desire to lure you in.
→ If you jump in, the lake will freeze over and trap you underwater.

Minotaur:
→ Located in the middle of a maze.
→ Appearance is half man, half bull.
→ Must defeat it to escape the maze.

Mirrors:
→ Looks like they're growing on the trees.
→ Looking into them will mess with and amplify your emotions.
→ If you touch them, the mirrors will eat you.

Ogre:
→ A group of them live in a cave in the forest.
→ They're large and tough, but they can be taken down by force.
→ For some reason, they'll stop chasing you if you reach the edge of the forest.

Shadows:
→ They can steal your energy and color.
→ Capable of taking over normal shadows, mimicking voices, and becoming solid enough to pick up objects and use them against you.
→ Also will sometimes offer to play a game of chance. Losing the game means losing your color.
→ Normal weapons don't work on them. Light can repel them for a little while.

Supply Trap:
→ Looks like a few normal crates of supplies (food, clothing, etc.)
→ Avoid touching, if possible! You'll be trapped in place for a long time if you touch them.
